About this speaker
Lisa H. Calle is a 1991 graduate of Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science with a BS in Textile Management and Marketing. After leaving a retail management career in 1999, she discovered quilting and never looked back.
In 2004, she launched Stone House Quilting and has since completed hundreds of client quilts, including annual commissions for Longwood Gardens. An award-winning quilter, Lisa’s work has earned numerous accolades, including Best of Show for Hula Hibiscus and first place for Swan’s Song at the Houston International Quilt Festival.
Lisa began teaching in 2007 and now leads two successful online programs: Quilter’s Groove® Design Academy, a 6-week signature course, and Quilter’s Groove® Design Society, a thriving monthly membership.
She also developed the Quilter’s Groove™ Ruler line, widely used by machine quilters. Lisa lives in Chester County, PA, with her son Brody, while her two older sons, Brandon and Noah, visit when they can.
